Town Hall Gallery
Address: Rear Entry Lower Level, Hawthorn Town Hall, 358 Burwood Road (near corner of Glenferrie Rd), Hawthorn (close to Glenferrie train station and tram 16 route).
Opening Hours: Wed - Sat 12pm to 5pm, 1st Sunday of each month 10am to 3pm (except Jan-Feb).
Situated only minutes from the vibrant Glenferrie Road shopping precinct, the Town Hall Gallery features a diverse range of contemporary, professional and community related exhibitions including exhibits from the Town Hall Gallery Collection.
The Town Hall Gallery's exhibition calendar is carefully selected to explore a diversity of mediums and themes relevant to the municipality and the current visual arts scene.
In conjunction with the exhibition calendar, a series of public programs are offered to patrons to allow an insight into each exhibition.
The Community Arts Room
Adjoining the Town Hall Gallery is the Community Arts Room, an open plan area with lockable storage cupboards and kitchen facilities. The room was specifically designed for local cultural groups to meet and create.
The Community Arts Room is available for hire by arts and community groups. For more information please call 9278 4770.
Cultural Gifts Program
The Town Hall Gallery is registered with the Cultural Gifts Program to receive tax deductible donations of both money and property that will advance the Collection.

The Town Hall Gallery Collection combines art works, historical and civic memorabilia from the past municipalities of Kew, Hawthorn and Camberwell. The Collection also actively acquires new art works to maintain the cultural heritage of Boroondara.
